i☆Ris is a 6-member hybrid unit formed in 2012 through a joint audition by Avex Group and 81 Produce. In addition to performing as singing pop idols, the members also work as anime voice actors. In 2012, they released their debut single “Color”, the ending theme song for the anime series Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes. In 2014, the members provided voices for the main cast of the anime series PriPara. In 2016, they performed their first Budokan concert. In April 2018, their 16th single “Changing point” was chosen as the opening theme for the anime series Magical Girl Site.
