Anime Expo will discontinue registration services with Eventbrite to prepare for a transition to a new service provider.
As a result, we will process refunds for all Anime Expo 2020 general attendee badges, Premier Fan badges, and Artist Alley packages that were rolled over to Anime Expo 2021 by January 1, 2021. Refunds will automatically go back to the original method of payment. No further action is needed.
All buyers (general attendee, Premier Fan, and Artist Alley package) who opted to roll over to 2021 will have priority access when registration is available in the future.
We know how important Anime Expo is for our community, and we are committed to creating a fun and safe experience for attendees to enjoy in 2021.
Your patience and understanding during this process are greatly appreciated.
What should I do if the credit/debit card used to buy my badge(s) has been changed or closed?
- For credit/debit cards that have been replaced or canceled, refunds should still be issued to the associated or new account. If you do not see funds after four weeks, please contact your bank or credit card company for assistance.
- For credit/debit cards where all existing accounts have been closed, please contact the bank or credit card company associated with the card that you used to purchase your badge(s). In most cases, they will issue a check
once they have confirmed receipt of the returned funds.
