We’re proud to announce that the legendary Studio TRIGGER will be returning to Anime Expo 2023 to debut the world premiere of Delicious in Dungeon, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of GURREN LAGANN the Movie, and to tease fans even further with the latest and long-awaited Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt updates, of course!

That isn’t all! After you watch the debut and see their animated magic on the big screen, be sure to join TRIGGER’s Imaishi Hiroyuki, Shigeto Koyama, and SUSHiO back again for a special live drawing session. See how they bring your beloved characters and moments to life while they answer questions from the audience and hand out prizes in an intimate setting and display of their rare talent!

Founded by former GAINAX employees Hiroyuki Imaishi and Masahiko Otsuka, Studio TRIGGER was established in 2011. Making a bold debut in the television anime industry with KILL la KILL, TRIGGER has produced many acclaimed titles over the years such as Little Witch Academia, PROMARE, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Hiroyuki Imaishi

The acclaimed animation director and co-founder of Studio TRIGGER, Imaishi began his career at GAINAX and later made his directorial debut on the critically acclaimed series GURREN LAGANN. Some notable titles Imaishi worked on include KILL la KILL, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

 

Masahiko Otsuka

An industry veteran and co-founder of Studio TRIGGER, Otsuka started his career in animation at the historic Studio Ghibli and continued later on at GAINAX. Along with Hiroyuki Imaishi, he established Studio TRIGGER in 2011. Some notable titles Otsuka worked on include GURREN LAGANN, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

 

SUSHIO

SUSHiO is a well-acclaimed animator in the industry and previously staffed at Studio GAINAX. Most known for his character designs for KILL la KILL, he has participated in a majority of TRIGGER’s productions. Known titles SUSHiO has worked on include PROMARE, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

 

Shigeto Koyama

An acclaimed designer in Japan’s media and entertainment industry, Koyama is known for his exquisite choice of color and designs and has often collaborated with TRIGGER to produce some of their renowned titles. Some of the titles Koyama has worked on include PROMARE, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
