Exhibit Hall

Hours of Operation

Exhibit Hall may open early to the GENERAL PUBLIC at the discretion of the Fire Marshall. Exhibitors, including booth staff, must be show-ready by 8:00 AM.

Arriving On-Site

UPDATE: New Move-Out Marshaling Yard Location

  1. Driver arrives at 2045 E Washington Blvd.
  2. At check‐in, the driver presents a bill of lading (BOL) with Booth#, Exhibitor name, etc. along with certified truck scale weight tickets if available, and a Shepard supervisor will create receiving reports.
  3. Upon checking in, the driver will receive the driver’s number and be directed to the internal marshaling area or docks as space permits. If marshaled, drivers must wait in their trucks until dispatched.
  4. A Shepard supervisor will direct the driver to proceed to the assigned dock area where the driver is given a specific dock # to back into.
  5. The driver presents paperwork to a Shepard supervisor and is unloaded, gets his DR signed, and leaves the facility.

Parking

Parking is available at the Los Angeles Convention Center, LA LIVE, and at nearby privately operated lots. Parking at private lots will cost an estimated $10-$30 per day, depending on the distance to the convention center.

Access Points

Exhibitors may enter through the following entrances into the Los Angeles Convention Center:

  • Exhibitor Entrances (Exhibitors ONLY)
  • Priority Entrances
  • General Attendee Entrances

 

Exhibit Hall Priority Entrance

Exhibitors can enter the Exhibit Hall as early as 7:00 AM through the Exhibitor Priority Entrance located at the back of Hall K.

 

The Exhibit Hall Dock will only be accessible on show days from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM.

Items will need to be offloaded or hand-carried by exhibitors. Onsite accessible storage is also available through Shepard Exposition Services at an additional cost.

 

Exhibitor Badges

Exhibitor Badges are required for show days, move-in days, and move-out days. Badges must be distributed and activated before entering the building. Badges must be worn at all times while on show site. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted access to the Exhibit Hall during set-up and break-down hours, nor may they hold an Exhibitor Badge.

All guests must tap their badges at an entry portal before entering or exiting the Los Angeles Convention Center and the JW Marriott. A GREEN light will flash to indicate that the badge is valid. If the portal flashes RED, guests must visit a Badge Help Desk, located near the entry portals. More information about badge entry will be available at a later date.

 

Exhibitor Move-In / Move-Out Wristbands

Exhibitors and/or Exhibitor Staff wishing to enter the facility for move-in or move-out must wear their Exhibitor Badge or obtain a temporary wristband at the entrance of the building or loading docks. Guests may be asked for ID, Company, and Booth Number. Temporary wristbands are valid ONLY during move-in and move-out.

 

Security Check

All guests will be subject to a metal detector screening and bag check prior to entering the venue.

Set-Up Hours

Set-up must be completed by 9:00 PM on Day 0 or table assignment may be forfeited. SPJA has the right to move or re-assign tables at any time.

Closing/Move-Out Hours
Artist Alley Participants must leave Artist Alley by 7:00 PM on Days 1-3. Loitering is prohibited and will be grounds for eviction. Move-out must be completed by 5:00 PM on Day 4.

Signing Out/Leaving Early
All tables are required to remain open and staffed during the Artist Alley Hours of Operation. No exceptions.

Kentia Hall Priority Entrance

Artist Alley participants can enter Kentia Hall as early as 7:00 AM through the Kentia Hall Priority Entrance or through any other Priority Entrance with Artist Alley credentials.

If not received in the mail, Artist Alley badges can be picked up at the Professional Registration & Will Call area. Only the Primary Artist is allowed to pick up all badge orders for their table.

What to bring with you:

  1. ShowClix order confirmation(s)
  2. Valid government-issued photo ID

Artists must provide all required documents to pick up their Artist Alley badge(s). To expedite the check-in process, please ensure that all documents and information are ready prior to check-in.

Artist Set-Up

Step 1: Review Target Move-In Floor Plan

Review the designated date and time for your table on the updated target move-in floor plan provided by SPJA and Shepard Exposition Services. Please note that it is CRITICAL to arrive during your designated time to ensure a smooth artist load-in experience. Arriving before your designated arrival time may result in longer wait times. Artists may arrive after their targeted load-in.

Step 2: Documentation to Bring / Information to Provide Security

Have your Artist Alley Badge with you! Artist Alley Badges must be activated prior to entering the building, and then always worn.

Please have the following information ready to provide:

  1. A valid government-issued ID
  2. Your Artist Alley Name
  3. Your Table Number

Step 3: Arriving at the Convention Center for Load In

Details will be provided at a later date.

Parking in LACC Garages

If parking in Lot A or D, Artists can enter either through the Exhibitor Entrance or through the General Lobby Entrance.

  1. To enter through the Exhibitor Entrance, Artists will need to exit the parking lot onto Convention Center Drive. Once outside the parking lot, turn left and pass the Kentia freight entrance. There will be staircases to the left. The Exhibitor Entrance will be on the staircase at the end. This entrance will lead into South Hall. From there, Artists can go through the South Hall to the South Lobby, and then go downstairs into Kentia Hall.
  2. To enter through the General Lobby Entrance, there will be signs throughout the parking lot pointing toward the lobby. At the end, there will be a South Lobby sign. Once inside, there will be a door to Kentia Hall on the left if coming in from Lot A or on the right if coming from Lot D.

Step 4: Finding Your Table and the Kentia Hall HQ

Use the signage to find your section and aisle. All tables will have their number listed. If you require additional support, visit Kentia Hall HQ, located at the front of Kenita Hall, next to the food court or reach out to a volunteer wearing a purple vest.

 

Step 5: Complete Table Set-Up by 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3

All artists are required to complete their table set-up by 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3. If you require additional support, visit Kentia Hall HQ, located at the front of Kenita Hall, next to the food court. In addition, be sure to bring the following items prior to opening day on Thursday, July 2:

  • Valid CA Seller’s Permit
    • Permanent or Temporary Seller’s Permit with a sub permit for the Los Angeles Convention Center.
    • All permits need to be a hard copy or a saved digital copy that can be accessed without an internet connection. If you have not submitted your Seller’s Permit via the Artist Alley Form, visit the Kentia Hall HQ office to submit the form on Wednesday, July 1.
  • Valid government-issued photo ID

 

Show Days

On show days, table staff must be onsite, in the hall, and show-ready BEFORE 8:00 AM. This is to accommodate potential early opening, as determined by the Fire Marshall.

Artist Alley participants may enter the hall as early as 7:00 AM through the Kentia Hall Dock Entrance or through any Priority Entrance with Artist Alley credentials.

Artist Move-Out

Move-out must be completed by 5:00 PM on Day 4, Sunday, July 7.

Artist Alley participants may exit the venue through the front of South Hall Lobby or through the Venice parking garage.

Entertainment Hall

Hours of Operation

Entertainment Hall may open early to the GENERAL PUBLIC at the discretion of the Fire Marshall. Exhibitors, including booth staff, must be show-ready by 8:00 AM.

Target Move-Out Hours

Move-out times will be Sunday, July 7, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Additional move-out times are by request only, must be submitted prior to the event, and approved by the SPJA.
