Ken Harada, a prominent music producer and DJ hailing from Tokyo, Japan, first made waves in the music industry with his production of Ayumi Hamasaki’s hit song “Duty,” which sold over 3 million copies and earned a Japan Record Award for Best Album. With a portfolio that includes collaborations with top artists like EXILE, BoA, Kumi Koda, Ami Suzuki, and SKE48, Ken has firmly established his place in the Japanese music scene. Originally known for his work as a techno DJ throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, Ken’s passion for music evolved when he discovered Future Funk, leading him to launch the “Tokyo City Lights” event on June 8th, 2024, featuring renowned acts like Vantage, Macross 82-99, Moe Shop, and DJ Hello Kitty. Ken’s ultimate goal is to help bridge out Japan and USA to have more artists to perform in both countries.
