Born in Fukushima, Japan.

He made his professional manga artist debut in 1994 with “Revenge”, which was received honorable mention of Shueisha’s Hop︎ Step Award.

He serialized “The Seven Deadly Sins” from 2012 to 2020 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The sequel series “Four Knights of the Apocalypse” has been serialized since 2021.
