The Yamagata Maiko Group will be making a special appearance at Anime Expo 2024 all the way from Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. Guests will be able to see their practiced perfection during a variety of performances throughout this year’s expo. This includes a performance at the opening ceremony and performances during each day of the expo at a special workshop where guests will be able to interact and try out some of the dancing and instruments of the maiko together. They will also be at the Tohoku Tourism booth in the entertainment hall where guests will be able to take part in short experiences learning some of their dances and how to play some of their instruments together.
